i found this old transit sitting in a pasture east of austin texas today... visited with the guy that owns it.... its got 6-bolt wheels... stud piloted... even for that age....missing the entry door... has a huge 6 cylinder gas engine a nd a manual transmission... its a vee drive.... driveshaft is tiny... maybe 1 1/4"....windshields slope back... really a neet-looking "old look" tensit... help rj???? |

Transit/Gasoline/36 passengers/Model 09/570 Sequential Production Number. Delivered new in April of 1946 as fleet number 2128 to Montgomery City Lines, Montgomery, AL.
