Google is going to take over the world - there's a beta mapping web site now. Haven't spent much time with it, but looks very, very nice. Not as comprehensive as a standalone application, but a huge improvement over the other clunky web junk out there. Here are some shortcuts that are useful. Use the arrow keys to pan left, right, up and down The page up, page down, home and end keys let you pan out even wider The plus (+) key lets you zoom in and the minus key (-) is for zooming out. http://maps.google.com (Disclaimer - I own no stock in Gooogle) RATS! |

Still a few bugs. I tried looking up pizza places near where I live - it showed them for a subsection of my city and wouldn't show any other subsections, and got at least one address wrong that I could see. Upshot: it's still in beta, guys, don't rely on it for anything important. |
