I'm leaving Stevens Point Wi. on the 28th headed to Murfreesburo Tennessee. I don't want to go the usual route through milwalkee and definately want to stay as far away from chicago as possible. I don't have to be in tenn. untill wed. but am visiting my daughter for a couple days and may do a gig there. let's here some interesting but not too far out of the way routes. may consider st.louis. then from murfreesburo to Pensacola Florida to the FloraBama bar |

Run through Madison and straight south through Rockford Ill on I90/I39. At Bloomington, Il take I74 over to I57 at Urbana, then I24 to Nashville. Sounds more complicated than it is. No Milwaukee, no Chicago! That's how I would drive from Atlanta to Eau Claire. Gillig-Dan |

Hi Ron Above route sounds good, No worries at Atlanta if come in on I-75, take the I-285 south and follow as turns east past airport the pick up I-75 on to Florida. Still 6 lanes each direction but not as much traffic as taking I-75 through downtownm now that would be a nightmare Rob |

Hi Ron I drove a car hauler for the last several years before I retired. If you follow I-39 to I-74 to rt 43 to 41 south through terrehaute, Ind.and keep following 41 till evansville ind. and henderson ky. as you go through henderson you will come to Pennyrile Pkwy.{ I believe they call it alt. 41} Take pennyrile to I-24 through Nashville to Murfeesboro. This a little shorter than I-57 to I-24. not interstate but all good 4 lane rd. with just afew towns that slow you up. Sometimes it just seems good to not run interstates Good Luck Bob M. |
