They don't keep their store managers very long after burn out either....

Like running all the good out of them, after all the ideas and work is expended, they are fired and they promote or hire another to restart the cycle.

In my area, there has never been a manager at RS longer than a year or so.

How is that supposed to make them so smart about the product they sell, if you beleive the commercial......HMMMMMmmmmmmmm

theres lots of stuff that radio shack doesn't sell any more... i needed a meter to measure amps... not there... 'bout all they try to sell is cellphone junk

Chinese cut the price again; $2.97 last month, and w/ my niece's 25% employee discount (college student) I just couldn't resist a couple more. They make several at different prices but I think they are all the same inside and seem to work good if u keep a good battery in them and don't leave 'em in the sun.

What is the part number for the $2.97 - $9.95 ampmeter. I have their cheap VOM but it will only measure milliamps.

Actually, a visit to a Radio Shack store or to the website will show a number of radios, even with AM/FM bands.
