For those who may not have followed my previous post, I purchased a fully converted 4106 last Saturday. The idea was to buy a bus for our upcoming travels this summer, since I’m making almost zero progress on the Fishbowl (too much paying work lately).

True to my overly verbose form, here's the Saga:

Here’s some pics for those who just want to see it and not read all my blathering:

Enjoy!

p.s. Chuck, and any other graphics-gurus. The Photoshop action to do the photo corners on my Pics page is in this neat little action I found on Adobe's Studio section.

Awesome bus and so close to home way to go Brian. I'm happy for you. Looks like you scored a good buy.

BB - Good story and photos, and thanks for the PS action. That is sweet.

I *think* you're making upward moves rather than lateral with all your bus-trading shenanigans, but in any case you gotta love that blue velvet! :-) I LIKE that tachograph/speedo/clock thaing!

PS: Now are you going to open a bus-yard with all your castoffs, or you surely don't expect mama to allow your carcasses in your suburban backyard do you??? ;)

Chuck:
RE: "cast-off bus-yard", man you cracked me up with that one. I've GOT to figure out what to do with the old Fishbowl. Right now, it's in a condition only a certified nut (not even of the busin' variety) would want. My wife seems to think we can "polish the turd" somehow and sell it for what we have into it. She's hopelessly optimistic, methinks (she married me, didn't she? She's still waiting for that to work out).

RE: blue velvet, yup gotta love it. I can't decide if Bobby Vinton or Barry White is more appropriate music when I look at that thing. Just gets me in the mood for love, baby!
