My 1980 Eagle is still in the shop and I am setting up my truck to tow behind the Eagle. Can someone measure and tell me how high it is from the ground to their hitch receiver if they have one? IT would be appreciated. Thanks |

Interesting. My toad is around 28" from the ground to the connection point. I'd like to hear from others about how they handled this. I could put an inverted drop hitch of around 16", but that seems like a lot of offset. 2 dogs, how would you suggest I go about this? Thanks |

Actually I would be looking at 16" inverted. Seems a bit much. |

Yes, it does, but the height of my 3/4 ton 4x4 Dodge pickup is up there. I have a blue ox alexus 10K tow bar. Instructions say that there can only be a 4" difference in height. And that is if the bus is higher than the toad. They say never ever can the receiver of the bus be BELOW the toad attachment point. |

Why not contact Blue Ox -- They have a complete line of options and can probably handle your problem -- not the first one they have seen. The drop takes a ton of load and can/will break if not engineered right. |
