What is the normal operating oil pressure for a
DD 8V71? What are the minimums and maximums.

40 to 60 pounds.

BUT less does not mean bad and more does not mean good.

Mine has the following:
Warmed up to 180... Idling - 10 lbs.
Above 1200 rpm 55 lbs.

Cold ( 80 deg) Idling 45 lbs.
Above 1200 rpm 60 lbs.
