Isn't there a sheet that proclaims how toxic the product is? Or perhaps it is on the tube? I think they are required to proclaim how toxic the product is. How about at the 3m site? Itis a required information. cd |

Look up the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) on the product. It will contain info such as chemical interactivity, health effects, flammibility, etc. Try http://www.msdssearch.com/ Bones |

I for one would NOT use this glue in a potable water system, but breathing it after it cures would be OK. FAST FRED |

What John post is better than nothing however it dated 3/2//2003 with fewer “toxic” than this link updated as of 10/08/2004. It could be no big deal but latest is better. This is not to insults someone but only to those wonder how get MORE information via internet such as Google tool. I know it take time to do search but you will get it. Google search… 1) ”3M website”… 2) ”3M Worldwide”… 3) ”United States”… 4) ”Diversity of Products”… 5) ”Marine”… 6) ”Product Catalog”… 7) ”Adhesives, Sealants and Fasteners”… 8) ”3M™Marine Adhesive/Sealant”… 9) “3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200”… 10) ”3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200 06500, 1/10 Gallon, White, 12 cartridges per case”… 11) ”MSDS United States” 12) http://multimedia.mmm.com/mws/mediawebserver.dyn?hhhhhhCJDmChemwIikcm7qqNxTWhBn3Iqm3hd5V-- Click “Search” in PDF tool bar and type “toxic”. Internet tool as you know is powerful but it at your finger tip 7/24/365 or more. Amazing isn’t it! By the way 5200 is not good for aluminum metal. FWIW Sojourn for Christ, Jerry |

Interesting...I went thru the channel as per my first post and no problem. This site after # 9 step. ”3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200 06500, 1/10 Gallon, White, 12 cartridges per case” http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/auto_marine_aero/marine/node_G7HTG91MHSgs/root_GS T1T4S9TCgv/vroot_GS4JK4Y166ge/bgel_BT9ZBXRLFZbl/gvel_QH8HT14PGTgl/theme_us_marine_3_0/comm and_AbcPageHandler/output_html Then click on MSDS. I am not sure what is the reason but it change address every hour or so for whatever ?????? Maybe I@N or someone can explain???? Interesting Sojourn for Christ, Jerry |

See that: "mediawebserver.dyn?"..? Well, the part of the URL that says: ".dyn?" is telling us that the page is being served dynamically... It's a page that's written as needed... (on the fly), it doesn't exist until the visitor requests it to be made by typing into the form what data is needed for the server to develop/write the page. Posting a link to that URL won't give the same results, since you provided in your own visit, what was needed to get that page written "on the fly". Just going to that same URL does not provide that same information and the server doesn't know what to do... Clear as mud, right? |
