Hi all
I know some of you have not heard from me since I lost my wife. But I"m starting to get back in to the bus. I order and recivied my new peninsula windows for my 4106. I got the drivers and passenger or door window that open and have screens. And I got the glass and new rubber for the "D" windows. Installed then and very happy with them. They where easy to install and the windows are great. I think Peninsula Glass Company are good people to deal with. Now my plains are to up the water and gray water tanks up to 100 gallons. 40 gallons just don't get it for me. This is just me 2 cents and hope every one is doing fine

Hope you're doing all right, Bob.

If I might ask, how much were your windows? I just got a new '06 myself and wouldn't mind upgrading some of the windows to dual pane w/ screens.

Hi Bob,
Sorry about lost your wife.

Good you’re back in here.

Information of durable RV tank;
Dura-Cast Products Inc south of Lake Wales, Fl
http://www.duracast.com/content/pdfs/marinebroc.pdf

Ardemco south of LA, Ca near Huntington Beach.

Whatever way you choose, I suggest get heavy duty type have Ό” thick Rotomolded
Polyethylene. Time save and trouble free.

Rotomold mean a large rotating rectangle or square steel drum spinning about 30 rpm with hot liquid Polyethylene coating inside drum of your size. No weld joint to crack.

They will install for free limited amount of spin-weld to your desirer location.

Suggest installing 4” drain at both end and 2” vent & toilet fitting on top plus 4 pc of ½” or 3/4” fitting for both end bottom & top. Can always plug the unused ones then go back to spin-weld more.

Water tank, at least one 2” vent fitting on top and your of smaller choice fittings any where to your desire.

Reason for 2” for vent pipe for water is while you fill with city pressure (High-flow rate) to avoid chance of siphon out and possible collapse tank. It has happen from another board. Large 2” is enough to allow air pass over flow inside of pipe. Or you can use ½” or Ύ” vent & add a Stop-vent near by (another small fitting) to allow air in but not out.

There no glue to stick to Polyethylene but can heat weld to it.

If want to make your own Fiberglas tank;

Fiberglass will take must of your time to make.

FWIW

Keep looking UP!
