Well, I'm back at it again. The compressor head is getting hot but still the bus is not airing up. Is the govner attached to the compressor or is it possibly located some where else?

bolted to side of compressor...looks kinda like a pack of cigarettes with a rocket ship comeing out of it..two bolts (7/16) head I think

If the compressor is water cooled it will get warm (hot) just from the coolent.
Did you see if it was sucking in air?? If its going in its coming out some place ether in the tanks or out a leak. And if you dont know what the governer is or looks like you realy should not be messing with it any way. 2am in the middle of no place with no air would realy suck.

we all need to learn....the d2 air governer needs to be disasembled & cleaned every three years...or...replaced...25.00 anywhere for a new one...air is VERY important...

found it, bought it, will installing it this weekend or sooner if I get the other honey do's out of the way. I will keep you informed. Thanks for all the input.

look at your old d2 after you take it off...& plug up the SAME holes in the new one....this is important
