Unfortunatly the bride hates driving out 1967 Olds D 88 Convirtable with a trailer in tow.

So we got a 96 Buick RoadMonster with LT1 Vette engine & tranny , and the lumber yard is happy to load "stuff" in for her, as I busily pound on this house.

So it's the sad time to sell our winter ride for the last 15 years.

Ian's board only does coaches , So as many here have great Auto experience ,

Where should I list it?

Hemmings would probably be best , but were OUTA here in a few weeks on a boat delivery , and I would love to not have to store it all summer.

Any recomendations for on line would be great.

I have heard too much about SCAMMERS to use E bay .

TIA

Hell Fred, Hemmings was always the place to look for the
"antiques" of motor vehicles. The publication would produce
best results, but they have a website also:

Fast Fred,

Last year, I successfully sold a beautiful flathead V-8 powered triple cockpit mahogany boat on e-bay; got a reasonable price for it. The buyer I dealt with was easy to deal with. There were no problems with payment or any other aspects of the deal. Done carefully, e-bay worked for me. The hardest part was watching as the boat left with on its trailer. But my bride was right. After only running less than two hours over the period of two summers, it was time to let it go.

I agree...the "E" place would be the fastest & best % of buyers...just depends on your "superstitions"

Fast Fred you should have no trouble selling on the E place just get someone that knows how to sell there and place your add, afterall you are the seller and have the car soit is like all sales NO mone- NO car when you have the cash in hand give them the keys with the other hand. i allways did deals with a hand shake but have beenriped off real good in the last year or so even by some of the people that use this board. they get their parts and then forget pay as agreed.

I just bought a converter on the E place. It was not any good. I am stuck with it. I used pay pal and he had my money before I got the converter. Selling may be OK but watch the buying.

I once sold a car on ebay and it went fine. You could also try Criagslist (www.craigslist.com). Listing things for sale is free. You can even show pictures. Of course, it works best if your in one of there covered markets.
