IF you come across a 50ft Navy open launch , in B&H please let me know.Prefer running , but ??? MY sub has expired. But NOT from Levy , the guy in NC. He has an inside deal [$3000 ea}and gets running units , takes them home , lifts them into his yard. There they fill with water and submerge engine & tranny ruining both. Then he only wants $17,000 for the hulks , been to see him. FAST FRED |

Wow, wotta deal! sounds like those boats are worth more dead than alive! My sub has expired, also, but they occasionally send me a copy. I'll be glad to keep my eyes open per your request. I did see a Coast Toasties "drug buster", Tempest 1988, 44 ft., twin Cat 3208T + 5kw genset. Ad says surveyed @ $425k, sell for $150k. Looks like a Donzi on steroids! Ted. |

Fast Fred, we have a built for the Navy 56' x 14' that we have been trying to sell for some time. But it's not an open launch and it is fir planked. It has a stand up engine room and is DD powered. It has a 16' x 8' house on it. We have spent around $50,000 on this boat, most of that thinking that we were going to convert it, but we ran into a deal in Canada we couldn't turn down, so we have two boats. We are trying to get $20,000 for it and it runs good. New liners, new injectors, bottom service and hull repaint just done. If you have any interest, let me know. Tom Caffrey 4106-2576 |

Thanks Tom , but my days of playing with wooden boats are long gone. WE have to have a hull that can sit all summer in Fla {6 months} with out being looked after. FAST FRED |
