Typical Delco-Remy 50 DN Generator: is geared 2.93 (spins 2.03 faster than the crank) can produce: 170 AMPs @ 1800 RPMS (614 engine RPM) 250 AMPS @ 3000 RPMS (1023 engine RPMs) 270 AMPs (without a regulator) so even at IDLE (600 engine RPMS) that approx = 4000 wattts max available and 6000 watts a engine RPMs of 1023 Diesel engines that almost no watts to run - -but- Bus A/C evap and condensor motors take over 2000 watss (RTS bus - HIgh/full load) Pete RTS/Daytona |
