I'm working on a very old bus 50's? With a 471LA15A engine. Need injector height, valve lash, and governor gap specs. All help greatly appreciated. |

Hey Roy, great old motor. What is it in? Get the Detroit In-Line 71 Highway Vehicle service manual. You might can get downloads off Detroit. Also www.coachinfo.com. The gov gap .002"-.004" For 2 valve head exh.valves are .012" cold. 4 valve exh is .016" cold |

Thanks for info. it really helps. I found injector timing on another diesel site. Bus is a 57 city GM, not sure as to model since everything has been gutted. |
