84 Eagle When I switch my head lights over to dim they go out after a few minutes. I switch them to high beam then back to dim, they work for a few minutes then go back out. I changed the dimmer switch - problem still exists. Any suggestions. |

Just a guess, but maybe a poor lowbeam connection, creating resisitance and overheating, causing circuit breaker to overheat. Jack |

May even be where the wire terminal connects to wire at dimmer switch, or even the wire may be old and need replacing. Heat is resistance so as soon as it gets hot electricity will not flow dont burn yourself but feel for hot wire. if you left electricity on to lights will they come back on after the line cools down then go back off? |
