I have a 1975 MC8, and am replacing the fiberglass windshield frame (mast). My frame appears to have come in two sections, and has plates covering the top and bottom middle. I've also seen pics that indicate this is either a common repair, or the way they come. These are obvious leak points, and was curious to see if any of you have these plates, and especially if there are any MC8 owners that don't have these plates. I would be inclined to take a MC9 frame and cut it down 4", and splice it to fit my 8 if that's the case.

Sam Caylor can ship you any bit of an mci 9 that
you wish; he's got about 20 of them on his lot. I don't recall seeing any 8s when I was there
last, but there may be one or two around. I didn't look all that closely. sams # is 785 878-3405. He's in Kansas. |
