Since Arcadia, we are heading out tomorrow on our second trip with our coach which will be a 3 day'r. I know it's a short trip but you have to get them fluids moving around every now and then! Were actually not going that far from home but none the less, it will do the bus AND us good to get away. It's kind of a pre trip test for our week long trip to Talledega which is coming up end of April and start of May. Were still kind of roughing it so to speak without all the finished luxuries but it beats those nasty high priced motel rooms! One good thing though is where we will be staying does have 30 amp service and water hookups which only cost us 25 bucks a night! I figure that isn't too bad for our first trip not related to a bus rally! It's actually a Music festival where we will be uh... working our new part time weekend venture! More nervous about that than getting the bus there! LOL Ace PS... Bill340, NO snide remarks either! | ||

We will be staying at the C&C campground which they tell me is right at the front entrance to the track! Maybe we can meet up sometime. We'll be there the whole week prior to the race! Ace | ||

Bill, we are having a GREAT time doing our new venture. Our first day was a little slow but yesterday was a little better than twice as good. We still have today yet but were not looking for it to be much better since most will be leaving today. It's fun and we meet a lot of people not to mention we make enough to pay for our trip! That always helps! We found out from EVERYONE that we have a good product and have been asked to return. We have 2 definite shows in the books and we hope to book evenmore now that we have this one under our belts. As for our bus trip? It all worked great. First time the bus was in a REAL campsite with full hookups. Well 30 amp but everything we needed works. Used 1 a/c one night on low but had to turn it off the second night. Kept 1 a/c on during the day for Pepper but had to turn it off when we came back to bus during the afternoon. The windows were fogging up. I don't care what anyone say's! These rooftop a/c's work! All plumbing worked as planned along with instant hot water. I found that out when I forgot to turn it on! LOL Minutes later, we had scalding hot water. All in all... we are very comfortable! Gotta go! Getting ready for that morning bacon and then off to POP some more!  Ace |
