I would like to add a tach to my MC-5a/8v71. What type do I need to purchase and where/how would I hook it up to the engine to read engine revs. TIA

I added one about 2 years ago.Very easy to do [1 wire from engin/ 1 hot from dash & ground] .Would not be with out one now. Got mine in Bloomington MN.$125.John D. 952 9389221 Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I purchased one for $100 from Fred Hobe of North Florida Bus Conversions. Hooked to the relay terminal on the alternator. Works great.
