I think our Eagle needs the air system cleaned out. How do you get the 'sludge' cleaned out and how often do you clean it out?

go to your local truck shop and get a alchohol bottle kit install it as per the instructions it is used as an air line anti freeze unit but if you put it on and drain your tanks after it will eventually clean the system but you have to be diligent about it drain all the oil out of the system that you can and then start your regiment if the problem persists you will need to look for the cause of your problem

I am in process of R & R my MCI5A brake system. I flushed all hardlines with AIR_BRAKE antifreeze. All hoses will be replaced, as well as all the mechanical parts of the braking system. Just be aware that alchohol will attack rubber, while air brake antifreeze has additives to combat this problem. After flushing, blow out all lines to remove crud, blow out new hoses before installation, and be diligent about draining air tanks. Good Luck. Dale
