Adobe® Reader® 7.0 ONLY works with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, I got hit with this fact after I installed AR 7 because I use a foreign browser

Ouch! Tough lesson to learn the hard way... the system requirements page gives us this information as well.
And, in fact, this version works in both PCs and G3s running Netscape and the version of IE you mention.
So, caveat emptor; check the system version against your system resources. These types of ooopsies can sometimes cause computers to lock up, necessitating a CTRL | ALT | DEL reboot.
If anyone cares to fire this up in Foxfire and let us know if it works, it would be appreciated if you report your findings here.

Hi Les,
Frankly, I'm surprised! That is the first shortcoming of that browser I've heard. I'll bet if they knew about it, they'd fix it up as soon as technologically possible.
Meantime, if you download Netscape v7.2 and run Adobe Reader v7 on it, it will work just fine.
