All you NJ Eagle 20 owner, I just put new therms in the engine and took it out last weekend. It used to get hot 210,now runs 180 and gets 195 in the hills. Old stat opened 1/4 in boiling water, new ones opened 3/4. Seems to have solved the problem.
Might want to check yours.
