Hi All,

I am wanting to change my 4-speed spicer manual transmission to a auto trans. I have a 1974 05 Eagle 8V71. Does anyone know of who can
do this work in Washington State?

Does anyone know what it would cost to replace a 4 speed spicer trans, hooked to an 8V71, to an AT740, or similar automatic tranny? New or used.

I would like to know the whole package price, removal, the auto-tranny, installation, linkage, shifter, everything. Also, are there any other things to consider?

Last but not least, is there any market for my 4-speed, I just put in a new clutch about 200 miles ago?

Thanks for the help.

Matt -

The answer to your question can be found right on the main page of the BNO website: Southern Oregon Diesel. Click on the link for their phone number.

They're in Eugene, not that far from you, and have a reputation for doing excellent work.
