I know there is one board poster here who can give the history of buses. Does anyone know the history of this one? The confusing thing to me is that it is trimmed exactly in the original Greyhound paint scheme except that it is a rose red instead of the Greyhound blue?? Why is this bus not blue? Thanks |

PD3751-1206: Delivered new as fleet number N-771 in July of 1948 to Northland Greyhound Lines of Minneapolis, MN. Probably painted this way because a previous owner liked red. . . HTH, RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |

RJ, Is it possible that Greyhound painted this bus red/rose? I read someplace that different areas used different colors but I have never seen any. I rode a lot of these buses when I was a young sailor. I rode one from Oregon to boot camp and again from boot camp to Oregon on Xmas leave of '48. The color is almost the same as Trailways used without any cream or black trim? |

If you've got some time and a little cash you'll have a nice coach you can trust to go anywhere when you get her happy. Just listen to her and she'll tell you what to do to keep her goin!!!!! |

The bus sold to another guy. Just my luck, anyway I'll keep looking and hope to find a 3751 but may find another model I like as well. Thanks for good info from all of you. |
