Ian posted on here that everyone would have to register anew on here, but you can register with your username from the other side.
There are three kinds of people in this world....those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that just wonder what the heck is happening. Which one are you?

... is the old board still on-line someplace?  I have a bunch of posts over there that I'd like to retrieve and archive so I don't have to type all that stuff over again...
...
There is a link to the archives on top of the page..
...

Cliff, I saw the archives; that's not what I was asking.  I was looking for the actual board, software and all, so I could search.  After poking around a while, I see what Ian has had to do to keep the archive online without having to somehow convert it to a different format pretty much precludes having the old board still functional, so I am out of luck in this regard.

I have a workaround, though, and in case anyone else finds themselves needing to do it, here it is:

You can use Google to search the old site, using the following syntax:
"my search terms here site:busnut.com/bbs"

Omit the quotes, and, obviously, replace "my search terms" with whatever you are searching for.  All the standard Google syntax applies, so you can force terms or phrases to appear by putting them in quotes, you can exclude terms with a minus sign, etc.

Hope that helps someone.

Sean,

If you can pop a PM to me, I'll try and get the gist of what you're looking for. I have an idea, but a quick meeting of minds may be useful. As is convenient to you.
