THE BOARD / Re: Missing the Old Members

Just one aspect,There are new families,  just like in the past, that travel around America looking for where they want to permanently settle down in a built home, and raise their kids. They have done it in conversions and have found their way to our websites and now on facebook. We've seen a few 2 level buses in England and several families over the years have been active on our web sites also. I have always thought as the kids leave the nest, they would remember great times in their bus and find another  to cure their wanderlust...

Yes, things are not quite like they were in the nineties, too many names have disappeared, but many valued diehards are still with us. At least BNO has lasted unlike Eagles International which died recently. I suspect that interest in old buses will not totally die out, look at all the interest in steam powered engines that still thrives.

Still living in the Bus fulltime and enjoying life in Kansas. :)
New rec-pro AC we put in last year on top works great and save a lot of power over the 25 year old Coleman. This one in the bedroom was the 13,500 and the next one up front probably mext year will be the 15.000. Cool is good. And no more 12 volt hooked and only 110 to run it.

Hi Frank, we arrived at our place in Alaska a few days ago. Despite a rear dual blowout, the bus ran great! We used to spend a lot of time in the Keys in earlier times, enjoy! My phone is usually on me & never far away - except for being in Alaska! Our turn to say safe travels.

This is a great place. I learned everything about my 4104 here so many years ago. I am going to take the bus pulling my boat to the keys fishing in August.
Stay in touch.
Dan, I will call you this week..
