Thanks Dave.. right side as looking from the back of the bus? In looking across the forum.. seems while perhaps a bit underrated for a 6v92T, the 644 should handle it.

HI Frank, We have a MCI 5C Saudi bus with a 6v-71 and a 644 Allison Auto which most of them have unless it has an 8V-71 then it does have a HT740. In a 5 you have no choice but to use the right side mount horn for the turbo unless you took out the floor above it but would be a bad idea and lots of work to do. Good luck. Dave

I’ve just picked up a low milage 6v92 / Allison 740 from a class A motorhome that burned (front). I’m also picking up a nice gutted 5C with a 6v71 / 740 trans with the goal to put the 6v92 and parts from the 5C in my current beautiful 67 converted 5A. It currently has an 8v71 spicer. (No one can drive it but me). The 6v92 has a turbo mount that is off to the drivers side (as if looking from the back of the coach) and knowing how low the ceiling is in the engine bay of a 5, I’m wondering (and searching this forum) for what others have done with regards to moving or making room for the turbo. I miss the old board. I haven't met Ian in a long time so I hope he is doing okay. Ewen is still alive but quite. It sure would be nice to go to lunch with them again.

Hey Clifford, Yep most have either got out or FB and X took over, If ya like politics. Come here every so often to see if any have returned but not many. I see Buck Trout is having aanother rally at Ghost town. Don (Windtrader is going), List look about the same with a few new ones.
