Valve Cover gasket
« on: March 06, 2012, 01:01:36 AM »
I have called S&S twice trying to get a valve cover gasket and they have a hard time giving me an answer without a serial number. I may buy a wall cameral just so I can get the serial, but until then I was wondering is there an alternative to buying the gasket. I have considered using form-a-gasket until I can get a real gasket. Would that hurt anything?

BTW we area talking about a 8v71.

For an 8V71 valve cover gasket, I think the difference would be whether your valve cover is cast aluminum or stamped steel.  Jack
