Sorry but I dont use THAT  board as I refuse to give away so much private info just to sign on.

Same folks are here as there with same problems , so why bother??

Also I never liked when the mag would pull answers  from the board , publish them to fill the space between adds , with no attribution.

I dont work for a profit making magazine  for free . Is it still in business?

Any questions I might be able to give an OPINION on should be asked here .

Youre on , simply relay his question.

And lots of folks can chime in for an opinion.

Fred, I know you are never going to go sign up there, but just so that new folks who might read this don't get the wrong impression:

At least since 2006, and I don't know how long before that, the only information required to register is a username, email address (and that can be made private) and password.  Same as here.  People can populate their profile with all the info they choose to share about themselves and their buses, but that is strictly up to them.

To your question about the magazine, yes, it is still in business.  A new owner, Gary, bought it out last year and has poured massive amounts of his own money into getting it going strong again.  That is what it needed.

Since 2009, threads of particularly strong interest are sometimes included in the magazine in a section called Web Chat.  Each post is attributed to the forum member's screen name, just like on the forum.

Mike you never told me if you received the set of BCM rules that you tried to force me to sign, the same ones I wiped my backside with and sent back to you, just curious.  I still have the copy of Woodworker magazine, you remember them, their the ones you sold my copyrighted pictures too, or should I say the magazine my pictures magically appeared in after you asked me to submit them to BCM magazine.

That is true about the sign up on the BCM but I seem to remember some conditions like anything posted on the board belonged to BCM, in the web chat the writers name did appear on the article that was published in  the magazine

good luck

Clifford they also have a rule on copyright infringement and steps to follow which were followed to the letter.  If they own everything printed within the pages of BCM then they also own all advertisements including Ford and many others, the TOS clearly state that any republication must be done within the confines of magazines owned by BCM.  I won't rehash it here out of respect for Ian, however, mike knows he was wrong, I would have sued if he owned anything of value.  Not Mike K. he's from the Upper Penninsula, I mean mike S.

Cody, I'm not going to get into the rules argument with you here.  Besides I am no longer the one who makes the rules there anyway.  As for woodworking photos, the only ones you ever sent me were the ones of your bus dinette booth that you also shared here, on the BCM forum, in the chat room,  Yahoo, Facebook, etc. Neither I nor anyone else at BCM ever shared them with any other publication.  Let alone sold them.

I realize you no longer make the rules over there, that was discussed at length with Mike K, as I said they could have magically appeared in Woodworker, I have the copy open in front of me right now, magic is always a possibility that we can't rule out.  Mike K was more than helpful, even offering my membership to BCM back but I declined the offer. The photo's were only shared with BCM, no where else, tho I did recommend that if anyone wanted to see them they could be found at BCM.  But more importantly, did you receive the copy of the rules that you sent me back? I sent them by registered mail, return receipt requested and I got the slip back so I have to assume you received them.  Enough about this.

I wasn't going to address it here, but Cody your public slander of me has to stop.  The document you sent (which is what you have a return receipt for) was demanding removal of the post you made about a motorcycle carrier on the back of the bus and how you completely rebuilt the steel framework of your bus, not anything to do with woodworking photos or other magazines.

Further, the rule "you followed to the letter" was the one in place to provide a means for third parties whose copyrighted material is posted on the forum without their permission to get it removed.  You gave BCM permission to have your post on the forum by posting it there yourself.  But we obliged you anyway and removed your post.

Since you refused the terms of use agreement, your account was deactivated.  When you changed your mind and asked to rejoin, since your refusal of the terms was in writing, we asked for your agreement to them to also be in writing.  You did not return it. As I said, what you have a return receipt for was the letter demanding removal of your post.

Until now I have always shown you the respect not to discuss this in public.  That was always my practice.  But you have publicly slandered me several times since, even after I was no longer part of the BCM ownership and I am tired of it. This needs to stop.

Mike don't waste your time. He is a sad little man with an axe to grind and he grinds it every chance he gets.  I will never understand why grown men act this way.

Hope all is well with you Mike, been a long time.

Thank you for the words of encouragement buddydawg, didn't realize you were dealing in.  The only ones that have intimate knowledge on this are me and mike and mike K so I'm not sure what you could add.  One thing that I've found somewhat amusing is that I've sat and visited with most of you at one time or another, yes, with you too buddydowg, with mike and with so many others that like to dislike me so much, at rally's and gatherings of all sorts in the Midwest and on the east coast, and we all got along great, I didn't have the bus with me for many of them, I also enjoyed sitting in mikes bus at the choo choo while visiting with joel after I got banned, and nobody knew it was me, simply because I never said who I was, isn't life great.  Next time your yuking it up with a beer at a fire, look across the fire, it might be me, or it might not lol.

Now I have to admit this gave me a good chuckle.  Because my bus is an exercise in what you can do with no money, I don't usually entertain in it.   I just asked Cindy and she said she isn't you and neither are my stepsons Chris or Dylan.  So that means you are either Andrea, Jeniffer, or Sharon (Cindy's girlfriends that have been over to visit her).  That is all the people that have been inside my bus since that time period.
