Jerry Lewis hired KRCA's mobile unit for his 1960 film CINDERFELLA.  How about that lens compliment....Telephoto and then SUPER-Telephoto!.
The location was Bel-Air's Kirkeby mansion, used two years later as the home of the Clampetts in THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES., lvmci...

I've run across mostly Flxibles and Crown buses as frames for broadcasters, why so few MCIs and GM 35'ers?

I would hazard to guess that it's probably because Crown and Flxible were considered more along the lines of specialty builders, compared to GM & MCI being "any color you want it as long as it's black" mass production manufacturers.

Just my nickel's worth, but you get 3¢ change!
