Derrick, so sorry you can't make it, you'll be missed, tom, lvmci...

Van,

The bride and I were coming, but I understand that I-40 is frozen over and completely shut down.  Everyone is now being routed thru Guadalajara  ...  Maybe next time?

Yes it is getting cold. I am heading south, just not gonna be in that area at that time. Stopped in Big Pine CA last night, headed to Lake Isabella CA today. Be in AZ by next weekend. You know how it is, things to do....people to see. Hope to be in Mohave Valley with the engine on the floor by the end of November.
There are three kinds of people in this world....those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that just wonder what the heck is happening. Which one are you?

Well thanks for that, I appreciate it.  Van and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and it should be a good meeting and get together.  We are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place on some medical issues right now, so it is out of the question for us.

Maybe next year?

Have a good weekend.

Van, that new avatar is just as scary as the previous one, LOL. And that long bike won't fit in the Eagle's baggage tank.

Hey man, we really wanted to come, but the bus board weather guessers tell me that I-40 is shut down.  I am not sure if I can even get out of my own driveway to tell you the truth.

And as you know, I only go somewhere when the weather is fine, because I am a “fair weather bus owner” and I have to winterize my pets, dress for success, and learn how to be more social in order to get ahead.  It has been suggested that I do not play well with others.

If all that wasn’t bad enough, this week I ran out of Prozac.

Gonna be a long winter.

Will work on them for sure, no sense in stylin' on the boulevard if you are not all shined up and ready to roll.

Almost a week away now, and boy howdy are we excited. Temperatures will be delightful for this non rally event. We have spaces reserved now thanks to Tom LVMCI, good sam and fmca discounts will be applied. Bring food, bring good stories to share, but above all bring yourselves and come prepared to have a great weekend here.
Calling all newbies and wanna be Busnuts, bring your selves, your sticks and staples or tents and questions and learn more about this Busnut way of life from those living it. Oh! and again there will be free copies of the new BCM magazine on hand too, while the supply lasts.
See y'all there!

Hi All, two huge events this week, the presidential election and the 1st ever Dam Rally, both are damned in different ways, one you'll be happy its over and one you'll be sorry you missed it. Don't be sorry you missed it, don't make Van cry, join us in southern Nevada and show the politicians that we can all just get along, lvmci...

Yes Van, speaking of Laurels, did you tell all the nuts about the togo party at the Lake, with the roasted pig and buffalo in a pit, please bring your own laurel wreath head gear ( Caesers had a big event last week & all the laurel bushes in town are stripped of leaves) and about the wild horse roundup with city busses and the bus pontoon floaties parade across the back of the Dam? I know I was supposed to get event t-shirts with the "Best Dam Rally" emblazened on the the back, but no printer could fit all the event logos on anything less than a 4X shirt. So sorry, but we will have some shirts from Goodwill and a box of Sharpies available. Van will provide a demonstration of his hardy handshake with his togo on, I must say he cuts a striking figure with his laurel capped noggin, just make sure you don't stand in front of him with the sun at his back!
